Dear friends,
I have some very sad news to share. We recently learned that Zipporah’s younger sister Catherine, who would have been a senior this year (form 4) at the Graceland Girls School in Kenya and who is featured in my documentary Graceland Girls, took ill, was hospitalized and passed away rather suddenly just a couple of weeks ago. We are stunned and saddened by this loss. Catherine was a sweet, thoughtful, bright and beautiful girl. In our conversations, she spoke of her hope of becoming a doctor and for the empowerment of girls, and she will be deeply missed. Our hearts go out to Zipporah and her family during this difficult time.
